About Jay
James "Jay" E. Crowe, Jr. is a magna cum laude graduate of Mercer University. After graduating from Mercer, Jay attended the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, where he graduated in the top 15% of his class and was on the Dean's List. Jay received the American Bankruptcy Institute Award of Excellence, awarded annually to the top student in Bankruptcy Law, and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Criminal Law.
Jay has handled cases involving complex insurance litigation, has helped clients appeal and defend against appeals to both the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia, has experience in a wide range of practice areas, and has assisted clients in both simple and highly complex civil litigation matters.
A graduate of Worth County High School, Jay moved his family back to Sylvester after law school and practiced in this area for eight years before starting his own firm.
In addition to his private practice, Jay Crowe is also the Solicitor for the City of Sylvester.
