About Jeanne
Jeanne Murray is an associate attorney in the San Diego office of Borton Petrini, LLP. She practices mainly in the area of family law.
Jeanne is originally from the Washington, D.C. area, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Duke University. She was commissioned into the United States Navy upon graduation and served on active duty as a Naval Flight Officer. She left active duty to attend law school and received her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of Order of the Coif and Senior Executive Editor of the San Diego Law Review.
After law school, Jeanne served on active duty as a member of the Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps. While on active duty, she worked as a military defense counsel, defending clients at court-martial, and as a legal assistance attorney, among other duties.
Jeanne’s family law practice includes marital separation and dissolution, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic violence restraining orders. She has specialized knowledge in the area of military divorce.
In her free time, Jeanne skates with San Diego Roller Derby, peruses vintage flea markets, and spends time with her three teenage children.
