About Jennifer
Jennifer Matta graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan with honors and a Bachelors of Art degree in History and Art History. While at Oakland, Ms. Matta was a member of the University's Dean List and La Pittura, Art History Club.
Ms. Matta received her J.D. from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. While at Wayne State, Ms. Matta was a member of the Wayne State University Law Review. During law school, Ms. Matta clerked for Bator & Berlin, P.C., a law firm specializing in group home administrative law. Ms. Matta wrote and published a note for the Wayne State Law Review entitled "Informed Choice: Housing Options in an Aging Society." In the article, Ms. Matta discussed the positive and negatives of group homes and their ability to properly care for residents with increasing medical care needs. Also while at Wayne State, Ms. Matta was awarded the Ira Spoon Award for her paper in Urban Development and an award for best written contract for first year Legal Research and Writing.
Ms. Matta began her career at Miller, Shpiece & Tischler, P.C., where she practiced Personal Injury under Michigan's No-Fault Law. Ms. Matta joined Dinizulu Law Group, Ltd., in March of 2008.
Ms. Matta hobbies include art, learning guitar, and listening to music.
