About Jerry
Jerry M. (Jay) Kirksey was born June 30, 1963 in Springfield, Missouri. Jay earned a Bachelor of Science from Henderson State University in 1985. In 1988, Jay graduated in the top 10% of his class from the University of Arkansas School of Law. Jay is a member of the Missouri Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice under the Missouri Bar and Arkansas Bar, as well as before the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Jay has earned his formidable reputation as a trial lawyer. Jay has tried and settled personal injury cases in the millions of dollars for his clients, including auto accidents, medical malpractice, serious truck accidents, workers compensation and other situations where innocent people were injured. Jay's success in the courtroom is based not only on his experience, but also on intensive research and preparation for each individual case. Jay enjoys making a personal connection with each client, and pursues each case with that client's needs and concerns in mind.
Jay enjoys spending time with his wife and four children at their home in Bolivar, and attending church as a family at the United Methodist Church in Bolivar, Missouri. Jay is active in his community, including service as past President of the Bolivar Chamber of Commerce and past President of Kiwanis, and working with the other members of the Kirksey Law Firm on our Relay for Life team, helping to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.
