About Jodie

Jodie Haferbier McGill was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) with a B.S. in Business in 2002. While at UNO, Jodie was the captain of the Swimming & Diving Team, the Outstanding Student Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2002, and president of the Student Athletic Advisory Board. Jodie earned her J.D. Degree from Creighton University School of Law in 2005. Jodie received the 2004-2005 Outstanding Student Award from the Robert M. Spire American Inn of Court and was a CALI award winner while in law school.  Soon after graduating from Creighton, Jodie joined the firm of Katskee, Henatsch & Suing, where she worked for more than five successful years. During her time with Katskee, Henatsch & Suing, Jodie was able to learn from and work directly with some of Omaha's best attorneys.  In 2011, Jodie founded McGill Law, P.C., L.L.O. Since then, Jodie has continued to represent numerous clients in family law, collection, civil litigation and landlord/tenant cases. Jodie has spent many hours in the courtroom representing clients in Omaha and surrounding areas. Jodie is an experienced trial and appellate attorney. McGill Law, P.C., L.L.O. has allowed Jodie to fully realize her passion for helping people at all levels of litigation while still spending time with her family.
