About John

I have a wealth of professional and personal experience that make me uniquely qualified to work and collaborate with people who want to change their lives for the better. I spent years at Microsoft as a high performer and am equally comfortable managing global programs and being in the executive suite as I am in the courtroom or a mediation.

I try as best I can to negotiate settlements to ensure costs are kept down and results are more predictable, especially in the area of family law.

I have a J.D. from the University of British Columbia School of Law and an LL.M. in Native American law and Tribal Governance from Seattle University School of Law where I graduated magna cum laude. I am admitted to practice law in New York (2009) and Washington (2017).

I am well established in landlord-tenant law, especially in Seattle under Seattle's specific Just Cause eviction laws. I am particularly adept at helping tenants defend themselves and bring counterclaims who are being unlawfully evicted.

I also work extensively in family law in most all areas including domestic violence and protection orders.

In addition, I have a wills and estate aspect to my firm and work regularly with different types of contracts and leases.
