About John
John D. Fernandez, P.A. was founded in 1976 as a criminal defense law firm. In 1978, the practice expanded to include personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, divorce and select cases in commercial litigation. Mr. Fernandez’s son, John Davis Fernandez, joined the practice in 2002. The firm is fully staffed with experienced paralegals, clerical personnel and a business manager. We have tried numerous cases to final judgment in the criminal and civil courts of Florida. John D. Fernandez, P.A. is the polar opposite of a high-volume law practice or tort mill. Our lawyers try cases ourselves; we never outsource or refer cases we’ve accepted to other law firms. We deliberately limit the number of cases we manage at any given time, so that we can give our clients the personal attention they deserve.
