About John
After graduating from Louisiana State University with an undergraduate degree in business, Kevin followed in his father's footsteps and chose a life of law. He got his first real taste of criminal defense law while participating as a student lawyer with the roundly respected law clinic of Loyola University Law School in New Orleans and has never looked back. Working closely with a supervisory staff of highly trained, community-minded law clinic attorneys, Kevin discovered the hands-on thrill of working a case, of formulating a zealous defense and of standing with the accused. He has always believed that the most valuable learning experiences don't happen on the sidelines. And so when the courtroom called, the young lawyer stepped up to the challenge - trying three criminal defense cases before even graduating from law school.
Benefiting from his father's mentorship and working with some of the most highly respected criminal defense lawyers in Louisiana and Texas through the years, Kevin still sticks with the lessons of Loyola, creating a practice that runs the gamut of criminal defense work - everything from answering driving-while-intoxicated charges to murder, drug offenses and white-collar defense. Kevin doesn't dabble in criminal defense, but rather makes it the centerpiece of his work. He takes his work seriously, maintaining a bustling-but-manageable case load with an ever watchful eye on giving everything he's got to his clients and ensuring that they receive the best representation that they can get.
Kevin is a graduate of the Trial Lawyers College, a Wyoming based nonprofit organization founded by prominent attorney Gerry Spence. The College devotes itself to training lawyers who uphold the strong principles of our jury system and choose to represent the accused. Kevin believes in the mission of the Trial Lawyers College because its his own.
Kevin's Standards:
- A relentless pursuit of excellence
- A dedicated work ethic
- Thorough preparation
- Absolute discretion
- An unswerving focus on the client's best interest
