John Edwin Searcy, Jr. Graduated from Auburn University in 2000 with an accomplished Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Upon graduation from Auburn, Mr. Searcy pursued his legal degree at Cumberland School of Law. Mr. Searcy received his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland in 2003. While in law school, Mr. Searcy served as a Senior Associate Editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. The Trial Journal is one of two law reviews at Cumberland, both of which are published and edited by its student members. Mr. Searcy's practice areas are state and local tax, complex litigation, ERISA and other employee benefits litigation and planning, healthcare cost recovery planning and litigation.
