About Jon
Jon Good joined Salsbury & Salsbury, LPA in 2009 after 14 years of practice. Previously, Jon had been an Assistant Attorney General and in private practice at a large full service law firm in Cleveland. Jon represents employers in all areas of litigation in federal and state courts regarding employment discrimination, workers' compensation, wrongful discharge, retaliation and intentional torts. He navigates employers through the intricacies of OSHA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, VSSR, and NLRB. He also counsels for profit and non-profit organizations on litigation avoidance strategies as well as develops the trial strategies for court actions.
Jon has litigated cases in state and federal trial courts and appellate proceedings throughout Ohio. He has litigated independent contractor cases in California, defended employers on sexual harassment, handicap, and age discrimination charges, defended an executive on WARN, fraud, and conspiracy allegations, and secured six figure breach of contract remuneration for business clients.
Jon's professional experience includes on-site OSHA inspections and audits, independent contractor/worker classification disputes, trade secret and competition counseling, wage and hour compliance.
