We started our practice keeping office hours with at least one lawyer present between 8a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday as well as regular office hours on Saturday and Sunday. We wanted to make our services available. We then worked to give the best representation we could to our clients, to establish a reputation for excellence. We value continuing legal education and membership in legal organizations that will assist us in continuing to provide quality service.

We encourage people to check the reputation the attorney has in the community. Ask your friends, family and co-workers. We also recommend that you consult attorney rating services such as Martindale-Hubble, and AVVO. See if the attorney you are considering care enough about their profession to be involved in legal organizations.

Over the phone we like to find out some details of your case. We can then let you know if we have experience in the type of case you have. We can let you know if we are familiar with the court where your case will be heard as well as if we have had experience with opposing counsel. We can give you some general information on the law that applies to your case. More detailed information will be provided later once we have the case and have done more investigation and research. We can usually give you an estimate for fees and expenses, or at least, for the initial fee deposit.

We need to know they type of case, and some basic details. We will need to know where the parties reside and where the action that gives rise to the case took place. Most importantly, we need to know what you would like us to do for you.

I have served our the Topeka City Council. I have coached in the Sunflower Soccer Association and in the Topeka Parochial League, I have been a Troop Committee member for Boy Scouts of America. I serve on the Board of Governors of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association and have been a board member and past chair of the Legacy of Justice Foundation.
