About Julia

For the last nine years, founding partner Julia Adair has helped clients restructure their debts and protect their personal wealth. Since beginning the practice of law, she has been the counsel of record in over a thousand bankruptcy cases.

“For me, it’s about taking away the unknown and creating a path to acceptance, control, and an action plan. I get a tremendous amount of energy from seeing the hope in someone’s eyes when they realize that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.”

Julia graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law. After receiving her law degree, she clerked for the Supreme Court of Virginia in the Chief Staff Attorney’s Office. Following her clerkship, she worked in general litigation handling cases ranging from corporate collection to families struggling with custodial issues. Her professional affiliations have included the Virginia State Bar, the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the American Bar Association, the Metropolitan Richmond Women’s Bar Association, and the Richmond Bar Association.

Julia Adair has spoken to community organizations on the topics of personal finances, credit repair, and bankruptcy.  She has provided educational CARE seminars for area high school students. A native of Bristol, Virginia, she is a founding member of the Byrd Theatre Foundation, and along with her husband and two wonderful children, is active in their local church.
