The fact that I am a parent of two children in the local community and they have been involved in extracurricular sports for over a decade at every level allows for me to share my own experiences on how a parent's situation can effect the child's ability to continue if the parents separate I understand the costs involved and that both parents may be required to assist financially. I am familiar with the school calendars and how custodial parents can access their child's records online.

I have a bachelor and masters degree in psychology and worked as a therapist before attending law school. I tend to gather information in a different manner when listening to my clients and I can offer limited information and resources to parties when they have a family member or spouse undergoing therapy.

One rewarding area is seeing the transition of a client from when they first walk into my office and when the finality of the case has been reached. The individual growth is sometimes striking. It is also so nice to hear from a client after the case has concluded and receiving positive feedback that I made a difference in their life or their children's lives.

I love to cook for family and friends and try new recipes weekly. I also love interior design and spend many weekends moving things around my house for a fresh look.

I have been active in my children's schools and have also worked with schools in other communities. A lot of my spare time is now focused on three sports: soccer, cross country and track for my children. It has become almost like a part time job as I am not just an observer but I volunteer in fundraising and assist the coaches with organizing events for the athletes.
