About Justin

Justin B. Aronson is a seasoned trial attorney and partner resident in the firm’s Easton office. Justin has extensive experience in the handling of construction contract drafting and negotiation, complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, municipal litigation, and family law.

Justin is adept at guiding clients through the claims process in a variety of forums and scenarios, from pre-litigation preparation through appeal. His commercial litigation experience includes representations involving a major tobacco manufacturer, several large medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers and a number of Fortune 100 companies. He has litigated numerous month-long trials and has worked on countless case teams involved in prosecuting or defending multimillion-dollar “bet-the-company” claims.

Justin has represented a bevy of contractors of all sizes. He is skilled at navigating clients through the pre-claim notice and dispute resolution process and helping clients evaluate their litigation options. He handles complex construction suits, including mechanics’ liens, bid protests, differing site conditions, equitable adjustment, and surety claims. He routinely reviews clients’ construction contracts to tailor them to a project’s unique circumstances, as well as to adapt them to emerging changes in construction law.

Justin represents banks, financial institutions, and private money lenders, as well as debtors, in a variety of commercial debt collection contexts, including confessed judgments, loan modifications, and workouts. He has considerable experience in prosecuting and defending large-scale post-judgment enforcement efforts and also provides asset-protection counseling to debtors.

Justin focuses his family law practice on divorce and child custody proceedings. By taking the time to get to know his family law clients and understand their goals and concerns, Justin provides them with efficient and effective strategies for achieving favorable outcomes in their cases. Justin’s family law clients can be assured that they are getting a highly-competent and zealous advocate to represent their interests, while also knowing that they will be treated with the utmost respect, courtesy and professionalism at all times. Justin has significant experience representing clients with marital estates valued in the millions and tens-of-millions of dollars and is proficient at assembling and managing the teams of business valuation, appraisal and other experts necessary to successfully prosecute or defend divorce actions involving complex assets and claims. Justin also has ample experience advising clients in all manner and type of custody disputes, from the most amicable and straightforward scenarios to those involving allegations of neglect or abuse, and everything in between.

Justin is a 2008 graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as a Research Assistant to Legal Research and Writing Professor Richard S. Risman. He is also the author of a published scholarly article entitled Lessons for the United Kingdom: How Registration and Prospectus Requirements Have Inhibited Condo-Hotel Investment Offerings, 35 Syr. J. Int’l Law & Com. 95 (2007). He is admitted to practice before the State Courts of Maryland and Florida, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Justin proudly serves on the Board of Directors of The Assistance Fund, a non-profit patient assistance organization. He resides in Easton with his wife Kristen and their two children. In his free time, he enjoys golf, cycling and spending time with his family.
