About Karl

Karl R. Hildabrand was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has been in the private practice of law since 1979.

Mr. Hildabrand concentrates his practice primarily in motor vehicle law, trucking litigation, products liability law, premises liability, personal injury law, insurance defense and subrogation litigation, worker’s compensation, professional liability, construction litigation and other civil litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants. His clients include individuals, insurance carriers, self-insured transportation companies, business entities, corporations and professionals. He routinely practices in the counties throughout Central Pennsylvania.

He also represents clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, support and adoption. He provides advice and representation with respect to pre-marital planning and pre-marital agreements. He is also a member of the Independent Collaborative Attorneys of Central Pennsylvania and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and represents clients in collaborative family law matters.

He graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in 1976. He received his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from the Dickinson School of Law in 1979. While in law school he was a member of the Dickinson Law Review, the Trial Moot Court Board and the Appellate Moot Court Board. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harold E. Sheely of the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas from 1978 to 1979.

He practiced for three years with a leading litigation firm in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and for twenty years thereafter with a major Harrisburg litigation firm. He is currently a partner with Nestico, Druby & Hildabrand, L.L.P. in Hershey.

Mr. Hildabrand is a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association (Family Law Section), and the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Worker’s Compensation Law, Family Law, and Civil Litigation Sections). He is Board-certified in civil trial law and advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the accrediting agency approved by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He has spoken on various aspects of the law to public groups, attorneys, paralegals and insurance carriers. He has participated as a judge in the Moot Court programs of both the Penn State Dickinson School of Law and Widener School of Law.
