About Kaytlin

Ms. Kaytlin Carlson has lived, worked, and attended school in Seattle since starting her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington. After receiving her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, Ms. Carlson worked for a year at a small plaintiff firm working on personal injury and employment cases. Later, she transitioned to working at a larger litigation firm where she managed cases in a wide range of practice areas, primarily focusing on personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, and product liability. Having worked on both sides of the aisle, Ms. Carlson brings her unique insight into her current practice and is able to work cooperatively with both co-counsel and opposing counsel. Ms. Carlson has experience working with a wide variety of clients ranging from individuals, small contractors, general contractors, as well as large corporations. She understands that the goals and needs of her clients vary, and she strives to provide a tailored approach to accommodate each respective client.

While Ms. Carlson advocates for her clients, her ability to communicate effectively with opposing counsel often results in successful negotiations and resolution either informally or through mediation. As a result, she has worked to resolve several high exposure cases involving high profile clients and has saved money for both clients and carriers.

Ms. Carlson has been an active member of book club for over a decade and is a passionate Seattle sports fan who can be found cheering on the Mariners, Huskies, and Seahawks during their respective seasons. She also enjoys live music, spin classes, tennis, cooking and exploring Seattle’s restaurant scene.
