Jeremiah earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the Mississippi State University. During his tenure at Mississippi State, he pitched for the Bulldogs baseball team and was selected for the Southeastern Conference academic honor roll. Thereafter, he received his Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School. While in law school, Jeremiah was a managing editor for the Sports Law Journal. Following law school, Jeremiah worked on complex litigation, gaining valuable experience in several practice areas, including personal injury law and large complex multi district litigation. Immediately after this experience, Jeremiah worked for a large national plaintiffs law firm handling a docket of toxic tort cases and complex high dollar personal injury cases. While doing so, Mr. Boling secured millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for his clients. Mr. Boling was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star for 2018-2021 and is listed in the National Trial Lawyers’ Top 40 under 40. Professionally, Jeremiah is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Association of Justice as well as the Louisiana Association of Justice. He is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state courts. In addition he is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Andrew Bizer is the founding Partner at Bizer & DeReus and is admitted to practice law in Louisiana and New York. Andrew graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2003 and Tulane University in 1997. He has been advocating for the rights of the disabled since 2010. He has successfully litigated hundreds of cases under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Garret is a devoted civil rights advocate who has been promoting fairness and civil rights since 2011. Currently, Garret is a partner at Bizer & DeReus and is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Missouri. As a constitutional lawyer and experienced federal practitioner, he has handled more than 200 civil rights cases. Mr. DeReus has represented clients in thirteen federal district courts, three federal courts of appeal, Louisiana courts, and even the United States Supreme Court. Garret’s passion for civil rights started when he was in law school at Tulane University, when he worked at the Louisiana Fair Housing Action Center (formerly the Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center), first as an intern 2011 and later as a Legal Fellow. After graduating from Tulane Law, Garret joined Bizer & DeReus, where he has been advocating for fairness and civil rights ever since. In his free time, Mr. DeReus enjoys spending time with his wife and his dogs, kayaking, and watching birds.

Eva has dedicated her legal practice to advocating for Louisiana’s most vulnerable residents. She graduated from Barnard College in 2016 and Tulane Law School in 2021. She began her career in legal aid as a staff attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services where she represented survivors of intimate partner violence in civil cases in Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes. She then worked at Louisiana Fair Housing Action Center representing tenants facing eviction in Orleans Parish. She is excited to bring her passion for social justice and civil rights to Bizer & DeReus. In her free time she enjoys walking her dog Joni along Bayou St. John and cooking meals for her friends.
