Prior to establishing Rubin & Wohl in 1990 which is now Rubin, Ehrlich & Buckley, he was associated with the Philadelphia-based law firm of Cohen, Shapiro, Polisher, Shiekman & Cohen in the real estate and commercial finance department. Mr. Rubin s practice is concentrated in the areas of lender representation, land use, real estate and environmental law. His background includes representation of clients involved in conduit lending/securitization, commercial mortgage finance and representation of loan servicers. A portion of his practice is also devoted to the purchase, sale and lease of environmentally sensitive property.

Between 1992 and 1996 he served as the attorney to the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders, which is the governing body of the county. Currently, he serves as the counsel to Mercer County Planning Board. Mr. Rubin is a frequent lecturer concerning advanced real estate issues. In January, 2001, he was appointed by Governor Whitman to serve on a Study Commission evaluating the integration of the State Departments of Banking and Insurance. In 1990, he was appointed by Governor Kean to the Governor s Council on the Prevention of Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and has served as the President of the Association of retarded Citizens/Mercer Unit. He presently serves as the vice-chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mercer County Community College. In his spare time, his hobbies include flying as a private pilot and woodworking.
