About Kim

Prior to entering private practice, Kim Ebert devoted her life to public service. Ebert spent 21 years in law enforcement in the U.S. Army where she received extensive training and experience in personal security protection (with the Secret Service), investigations and weaponry. She spent the majority of her service in Washington D.C. where she graduated from the top tier law school at George Mason University. After the Army, Ebert became a Public Defender in Fort Lauderdale where she gained valuable experience in the Unified Family Court and as a 1st Degree Felony Defender. At Legal Aid, Ebert has represented victims of Domestic Violence in Injunction Court and indigent clients in family and employment law matters. Currently an Associate at the marquee law firm of Morgan & Barbary, P. A., located in beautiful downtown Melbourne, Florida, Ebert aggressively pursues the interests of the Firm's family law, criminal defense and personal injury clients.  Her clients include employees from the private defense industry, NASA, ant! military officers and airmen at Patrick AFB. Ebert also continues her extensive history of public service by donating over a hundred hours in pro bono work annually. Ebert is an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
