About Kirby
Shealy joined the firm in 1997 after serving as the law clerk to the Honorable Costa M. Pleicones, Judge of the Fifth Judicial Circuit of South Carolina. He has a trial and appellate practice that focuses on trucking accidents involving catastrophic injuries and death claims. He is also experienced in handling worker's compensation claims, intellectual property disputes, construction defect cases and a wide variety of other litigation matters. Shealy enjoys working with community/homeowner associations and developers to construct and interpret master deeds, covenants and restrictions that apply to condominiums and other planned unit developments. He also counsels several non-profit and quasi-governmental entities along with a number of charter schools.
Outside of his law practice, Shealy participates in a number of public service activities. He is particularly fond of the Richland County Public Library and Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, where he volunteers his time in a number of different ways.
