About Kristen
Ms. Martin grew up in Pennsylvania and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 1995 where she majored in Human Development and Family Studies. While at Penn State, Ms. Martin was a member of Kappa Omicron Nu, a national honor society, and was a teaching assistant for several family studies and sociology courses.
Ms. Martin's education focus on child development, marriage and family relationships and sociology offer a unique perspective and solid foundation for her work in the area of family law. Ms. Martin is able to offer her clients an unwavering commitment to the highest level of professionalism, coupled with compassion and understanding of the complex and emotional issues involved in divorce and custody cases.
Ms. Martin is a 2000 graduate of the Arizona State University College of Law. During law school, Ms. Martin served on the board of the Women's Law Students Association and performed pro bono work for the Domestic Violence Advocacy Program and the Arizona State Attorney General's Office, Consumer Conciliation Program.
Ms. Martin has developed an excellent reputation as one of the top young family law attorneys in Arizona. She is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section and the State Bar of Arizona Family Law Section. She is also a member of the Sandra Day O'Connor Inn of Court, an organization committed to ethics and professionalism in the practice of law.
Not only does Ms. Martin enjoy the personal interaction her work in Family Law affords her, but she enjoys the challenge of the courtroom, where she represents her clients in all areas of family law including paternity, custody, and divorce proceedings.
