ALEXANDER M. OWENS is a partner in the Philadelphia Office of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation, False Claim Act, trade secret, and class action matters and defendants in product liability and white collar litigation matters. Mr. Owens has tried cases to verdict in state and federal courts. He also represents whistleblowers under the SEC, CFTC, IRS, and FinCEN whistleblower programs. Beyond litigation, Mr. Owens counsels clients on regulatory issues arising under federal and state healthcare laws. He is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) and a member of the American Bar Association’s Trade Secrets and Interference with Contracts Committee. Mr. Owens received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Boston University where he majored in International Relations. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law. At Temple, he was an Executive Articles and Symposium Editor on the Temple Political & Civil Rights Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. Following graduation from Temple Law, Mr. Owens served as a law clerk to the Honorable David R. Strawbridge of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Owens is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, District Court of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
