About Larry

Larry E. Keenan and his brother, Robert, who founded the law firm were raised on a Stafford County farm, just South of Great Bend. Larry graduated from Great Bend High School, and received a B.A. in 1952, and his law degree in 1954 (L.L.B.), both from the University of Kansas. Larry served as a lawyer in the U.S. Army JAG Corps from 1955-1958. Larry is licensed to practice in the State of Kansas, the United States District Court and the United States Supreme Court.

Larry served as Barton County Attorney from 1961-1965, and as President of the University of Kansas Law School Board of Governors from 1985-1986. He is a member of the Barton County and Kansas Bar Associations and is also a life member of the University of Kansas Law School Board of Governors.

Larry is the Chairman of the Board of Farmers Bank & Trust, N.A., Great Bend, Kansas.

Larry spends most of his time on estate planning, wills, trusts, estates, oil and gas, corporate, real estate and agricultural law.
