Anthony P. Sgro is a partner and founding member of Sgro & Roger, LLC. After attending the University of San Diego for both his undergraduate education and law school, Mr. Sgro returned to Las Vegas and began practicing primarily in the area of criminal defense. In short order, he became a “death qualified” attorney and focused on defending those charged with capital murder offenses. After trying numerous cases, Mr. Sgro used his unique trial experience to branch out into other areas of law, including personal injury, entertainment, and business law. Remarkably, he found his trial skill set transferred to those areas as well. Since the beginning of his career, Mr. Sgro has tried over 125 jury trials in both the civil and criminal arena. Most notably, as trial counsel, Mr. Sgro secured numerous acquittals in criminal cases including acquittals in extortion cases, drug cases, sexual assault cases and murder cases. He has been awarded millions of dollars by way of jury verdicts in medical malpractice cases and in personal injury cases. He also secured the largest slip and fall personal injury verdict to be awarded against Walgreens corporation, as well as a real estate trial verdict in excess of $55 million. Notably, that same trial experience allowed him to resolve the largest settlement for a single plaintiff personal injury case in Nevada history, which exceeded $30 million. Several years ago, Mr. Sgro once again expanded his practice and business interests. He had the privilege of representing, and routing Prince’s 2013 West Coast tour, which spanned 13 U.S. cities. Most recently, his legal experience has allowed him to participate in the gaming arena, including both local and overseas gaming operations. Years ago, Mr. Sgro teamed up with long time friend David Roger to create the firm that exists today. Mr. Roger is the former District Attorney for all of Clark County, Nevada, and he served in that capacity for approximately 25 years.

Burk Injury Lawyers was originally named “The Patriot Law Firm”. Although “The Patriot Law Firm” may sound political in nature, this is not the case. The name actually originated to respect the sacrifices of my Grandfathers and family members. We have many Patriots in my family. I am so proud of each and every one of them! My biological paternal grandfather, Vernon Dale Huddleston, gave his life for our country in World War II on July 4, 1942. His story is listed at the bottom of this page. He was the original Patriot. My adoptive paternal grandfather, Daniel Madison Burk, served honorably in the United States Navy in World War II and the Korean War. One of his ships was sunk, and somehow he managed to survive the wreckage My maternal grandfather, James Raymond Perrin, served in the United States Army and served in Europe during World War II. I was born in England during a time in which my father served abroad as a Civilian in the United States Air Force. After a few years overseas. My father then accepted a job at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. I was raised in a nearby suburb of Beavercreek. As a youngster, I participated in club soccer, track, basketball, and wrestling. My first job was working at a local McDonalds when I was 15 years old. I worked various jobs including grocery stores, delivering pizzas, and construction. After graduating from Beavercreek High School, I went on to earn two degrees from “THE” Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. After graduation, my passion for the Law took me to San Diego, California to attend law school. While attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law, I was elected Student-Body President. Despite going to a rather small law school, I was also elected as the National Vice-Chair for the American Bar Association – Law Student Division. This was a tremendous honor as this position was elected by the student body presidents of each law school all across the country. Finally, in my last year in law school, I was also appointed by the Dean to the prestigious Faculty-Selection Committees and the Diversity Committees. Preparing for my career as a litigator, I was selected for the law school’s Mock Trial (1st team) I competed in several regional and national mock trial competitions. I also gained valuable courtroom experience by interning for the San Diego Alternate Public Defender’s Office for my last two years in law school. I donate my time and efforts to local veterans and the Paralyzed Veterans of Nevada here in Las Vegas. Since 2004, I have tried numerous cases involving car crashes, slip and falls, construction defect housing, criminal matters, civil litigation, and medical professional licensing. I am currently a member of the State Bar of Nevada, State Bar of Arizona, State Bar of California, the Nevada Justice Association (formerly the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association), and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association. I am admitted to practice law in Nevada, Arizona, and California. I passed all three state bar exams on the first try. I am also admitted to practice in Federal Courts in Nevada, Arizona, and California

We have represented the widest range of clients, from high profile wrongful death cases to those who were able to recover from their harms and losses in a short period of time. Our previous clients are our main referral source of new clients because of our efforts and the results we get for them. Mr. Bochanis is the past president of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association/Nevada Justice Association and has served on its Board of Governors since 1995. He holds the highest AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell National Law Directory for every year since 2000. He has also received other top lawyer ratings from other national and local sources such as the American Trial Lawyers Association, Super Lawyers and MyLasVegas Magazine. Mr. Bochanis is also involved in many community and church activities and organizations in Las Vegas and Henderson. In an ongoing effort to help the community, the law office offers an annual $5,000 need-based scholarship. But even with all the awards and recognition our law firm has received, our proudest accomplishments are the testimonials and referrals from our past clients whom we have been able to help during their difficult times.

We are a premier full-service Las Vegas personal injury law firm, specializing in personal injury for over 29 years and securing for our clients some of the largest settlements in the state's history. The insurance companies know which injury firms are the best. Shouldn't you? You owe it to yourself to make the right decision. Your case could be worth many times more than you think, depending on the lawyer you choose. Experience matters. Results matter the most. If the insurance reps handling your case don't already know, the type of recognition your lawyer has received for his or her results is something upon which they will place a very high value. The insurance companies two favorite tactics, delay and low ball offers, can be deployed against most injury firms. You want to make sure the firm you choose is not like most. Most insurance adjuster we interact with are well aware of my firm's reputation, but for those that are not, a little research will reveal the following, which is something they dread seeing. Picking incorrectly will cost you thousands and, if your case is large, millions. All injury firms charge the same fee and none get paid until your case settles. So, how to decide? In its simplest terms, the personal injury client wants two things: 1. To settle for the largest amount of money, and 2. To settle as quickly as possible. Over the last 29 years that I have developed numerous tactics designed to accomplish both of these goals. At Aaron Law Group, we take care of everything and all you have to do is go to the doctor and get better. Although our process is hassle-free for the client, it has, over almost 3 decades, evolved into a powerful system that achieves incredible results in a relatively short period of time. I am very proud of the fact that for the last 5 years or so, I've been able to look a perspective client in the eyes and honestly tell them that there is no firm in this state that can handle his personal injury case better than mine.

Joseph Gutierrez is a founding partner of Maier Gutierrez & Associates, focusing his legal practice on all phases of litigation, from obtaining fast and favorable pre-litigation results to handling cases through trial and appeal. He regularly represents clients in business litigation, employment litigation, and personal injury cases. His commitment to providing each client with the individualized attention and respect they deserve comes from personal experience. As a victim of a serious car accident as a teenager, Joseph experienced first-hand what it was like to have his case brushed aside by “big name” attorneys on television who were looking for nothing more than a quick settlement. “At Maier Gutierrez & Associates, clients can rest easy that their cases will be handled by skilled attorneys, not just legal assistants, and that no case will be settled out of fear of litigation or taking a case to trial,” says Joseph. Throughout his career, Joseph has successfully litigated numerous personal injury lawsuits, including medical malpractice and pharmaceutical cases. Additionally, he has represented homeowner associations (HOAs), major manufacturers, banks, hotels, production shows, and major restaurant chains. Joseph has also successfully represented clients in whistleblower claims and Title VII/retaliation charges. Joseph has extensive experience in negotiation, settlement, litigation, and trial, in both personal injury and complex commercial litigation cases. Joseph was lead trial counsel in the First 100, LLC v. Raymond Ngan, et al. litigation, which resulted in the largest judgment in Nevada history (over $2.2 billion). Recently, Joseph successfully represented Thrive Cannabis Marketplace in a six-week trial regarding the State of Nevada’s 2018 marijuana dispensary licensing process. The media labeled the marijuana licensing litigation “World War Weed”, as it involved many high-profile companies and law firms. The trial resulted in a verdict in favor of Joseph’s client Thrive Cannabis Marketplace, as well as the State of Nevada Department of Taxation and other marijuana dispensary companies. While in law school, Joseph worked for the United States Circuit Judge Arthur L. Alarcon of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Following graduation and admission to the State Bar of Nevada, he began his law career at a small Las Vegas litigation firm. Before founding Maier Gutierrez & Associates, Joseph served as a litigator with one of Nevada’s oldest incorporated law firms, Beckley Singleton, and then at the international law firm, Greenberg Traurig. After several years working for large law firms, Joseph and his law partner Jason Maier established Maier Gutierrez & Associates, with the goal of providing clients the highest level of personal service combined with big firm legal experience. In his personal time, he enjoys playing golf and basketball and supports the Los Angeles Rams and Vegas Golden Knights.
