About Lashay
LaShay is a native of Washington State; she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. As an advisor, advocate, and evaluator, she believes that clients can be better served by using a holistic, client-centered approach. Clients come from diverse cultures, experiences, and backgrounds; understanding this allows LaShay to represent clients more effectively. LaShay assists clients with real property and estate planning matters. She assists landlords and tenants when a dispute arises by helping the landlord/tenant to understand their duties, rights, and options under Washington State laws. In addition, she drafts and reviews lease agreements and deeds. She also helps clients with wills, power of attorney designation, health care directives, and timeshare relinquishment. LaShay has also been a King County Legal Clinic volunteer attorney since 2018. She believes in serving individuals needing legal services regardless of their ability to pay. Outside of work LaShay enjoys yoga, listening to live music, and watching sporting events.
