Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I have been involved in the representation of a co-defendant in a class action securities fraud case. He was the Controller of a division of a multi-national corporation. The accusation was that he aided and abetted the commission of fraud by artificially inflating revenues and improperly deferring expenses. After the court denied the plaintiff's request for certification of the class the plaintiffs offered to dismiss the case.

How did you build a successful practice?

Our practice has become successful through zealous and competent advocacy on behalf of all clients no matter how big nor small the cause.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Clients should look for a lawyer who is honest, experienced and has a reputation for integrity.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Local knowledge is extremely important to the success of a case. Every jurisdiction has its own particular practices which are important to be familiar with in order to reach a favorable outcome.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

The most rewarding aspect of our job is accepting representation in a case that appears to be incapable of successful resolution and providing guidance so that a good result is obtained.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

I enjoy the outdoors, fishing, skiing, golfing, tennis, handball, paddleball and playing classical guitar.
