Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Personal Injury Settlement-Motor Vehicle Accident settled for 100,000 (policy limit). Injuries were torn rotator cuff. Real Estate Purchase - Helped a client purchase a home which was set for auction the next day. Client closed prior to scheduled auction and is now a first time home buyer! Client couldn't afford auction price so closing prior to auction was key!
How did you build a successful practice?
Communication! Good or bad news, we are sure to let clients know what is going on with their case in a timely manner. It is our goal to get back to clients within 24 hours of a call or email.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Clients should look for a lawyer who looks at them as a person and not a number. Many clients spend a large amount of time speaking with the support staff and not the Attorney who represents them. At our firm, most of the calls and emails get returned by Attorney Lindsay Stewart, herself.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
very important. Worcester County has its own ways of doing things which do not always synch with the rest of the state. It is important to have an Attorney who is aware of Worcester County customs, know other local Attorney's and are use to being in front of the same judges. By having a local Attorney, clients are likely to save time, money and aggravation on trying things that have already been tried and didn't work.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
Name, address, phone number, email, background, history of the case, expectations of the case.
Are you involved in your community?
Yes, I am actively involved in non-profit work, local town government and church.
