About Lisa
Lisa Derr has practiced family law for 30 years and has been a mediator for over 20 years. She began her mediation practice after seeing how poorly litigation resolved clients’ divorce issues in the long-term. Lisa is a past director of the Family Law Section Board and a past chair of the Wisconsin State Bar Gender Equity Committee. Lisa has given extensive training in mediation for private companies as well as governmental agencies. She’s a Past President of both the Wisconsin Association of Mediators and the Women’s Affiliate of the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce. She is a current supervisor on the Dodge County Board of Supervisors and also served on the District 13 Committee for the Office of Lawyer Regulation (which regulates attorney misconduct) from 1999 through 2004. She and her husband, Michael, have three sons.
