Guy Holman is a bankruptcy attorney in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, where he advocates primarily for small businesses and consumers needing to reorganize or discharge debt pursuant to the U.S. bankruptcy code. Also, while in law school, Holman clerked for the Honorable Judge Jeff Bohm, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Texas, and interned in the Property Preservation Clinic of the Earl Carl Institute for Legal & Social Policy, Inc. Additionally, Holman was awarded the Spouses of Houston Barristers Scholarship and was admitted to the American Inn of Court. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Holman had a diversified business background. He began his career as a banker with BMO/Harris Bank, serving as a financial analyst and would later join Citibank as an investment consultant. Holman would go on to co-found several partnerships engaged in commercial real estate finance, acquisition, rehabilitation, and insurance brokerage. Holman is also a former brick mason and member of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen. Holman is a native of Chicago and a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he obtained a B.A. in LAS/Finance. While in college, Holman studied abroad in Costa Rica, where he studied Spanish and “mastered” in salsa dancing.
