At the Law Office of Lowell J. Accordingly, and specifically in family law cases, while approximately two hours are set aside for the initial consultation, we charge only one hour for that consultation even though it may exceed the allocated two hours. In any event, during our telephone call to schedule the date and time for the initial consultation, we will agree upon what fee, if any, will be paid at the initial consultation.
