About Lynn
Mr. Hensley was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 1963. In 1975, the Texas Board of Legal Specialization certified and awarded him the Certificate of Special Competence as Board Certified in the field of Labor and Employment Law. Mr. Hensley is licensed to practice law in all state courts in Texas and in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas, and the United States District of Colorado, Denver, Colorado. Mr. Hensley is also a labor and employment law arbitrator and mediator.
Mr. Hensley's fifty-two (52) years as a practicing labor and employment law attorney has afforded him the opportunity to represent many unions, associations, businesses, employees and employers and has exposed him to the vast area of labor and employment problems in connection with those responsibilities, from negotiating nationwide union contracts, to courtroom litigation, to administrative trials/tribunals, to handling an array of various labor problems before most state and governmental agencies charged with federal and state statutory compliance and serving in the mediation and arbitration process of labor and employment law disputes. Mr. Hensley practiced law as a private practitioner in Houston, Texas, from 1963 until 1980, representing several national labor unions, its member employees as well as non union employees. Mr. Hensley established a branch office in Austin, Texas in 1975 and in 1978. Mr. Hensley established a North Central Texas Rockdale office in connection with the furtherance of employee and union representation. In 1982, the Law Office of Lynn C. Hensley was merged and incorporated into Hensley & King, P.C. Hensley & King, P.C. continued the practice of labor and employment law, also representing the employer's side of the docket. Hensley & King, P.C., was dissolved December, 1997. Today Mr. Hensley maintains his office, The Law Office of Lynn C. Hensley in Round Rock, Texas.
