About M.
M. Andrew Stewart is a partner in the firm's Lubbock Office. Andy's practice is varied, but his emphasis is on business and commercial matters, including representation of financial institutions and other clients involving banking, creditor's rights, real estate, business transactions and estate planning.
Andy regularly advises business owners concerning entity formation issues, business acquisitions and sales, raising capital through private placements, financing issues, real estate acquisition, credit and collection issues and business succession planning. In addition, Andy has experience representing financial institutions and other creditors in complex commercial and bankruptcy litigation involving loan workouts, plan confirmation, dischargeability actions, automatic stay disputes, real estate and construction disputes, and related litigation matters. Andy also represents executors, trustees and beneficiaries in probate and trust matters, including litigation.
Andy joined the firm after graduating with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in May of 2002. During law school, Andy was a member of the Oklahoma Law Review and upon graduation was elected to the Order of the Coif. Prior to law school, Andy obtained his B. A. degree in Public Affairs and Administration with a minor in Sociology from the
