About M.
Keith is a Partner with General Counsel, P.C. His practice emphasizes acquisition and enforcement of intellectual property rights. He prepares and prosecutes patent applications in a wide variety of technology areas, primarily relating to biotechnology, mechanical, and software arts; and appeals to the United States Patent and Trademark Office Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences. Keith's patent litigation experience includes enforcement of patent rights for both utility and design patents; and his unfair competition litigation experience includes defending and enforcing trade rights for clients in many varied goods and services. Keith is an active member in the Virginia Manufacturer's Association, the Republican National Lawyers Association, and Business Networking International.
Keith received his J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center, where he received honors for moot court competitions, ATLA Advanced Trial Advocacy competitions, and as a teaching assistant in patent law. His undergraduate degree in biochemistry is from the University of Florida (2001).
