Michael is the Managing Partner of Legal. He is also the Principal Broker and President of Security Real Estate, LLC located in Bountiful, Utah, and Vice President of Hepworth Investment Group, LLC, which is a real estate development company.

Prior to joining Hepworth & Murray in 2016, Tyler worked in the Office of General Counsel – International for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he worked on a variety of legal matters ranging from income tax issues, immigration, real estate transactions, and employment matters. Although he enjoyed the comforts of corporate life, Tyler’s real passion is advocacy, whether in the courtroom or the across the negotiation table. Tyler earned his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he received high marks in trial advocacy and was known around school for being a bit of trial junky. While in law school he worked in the public defender’s office as a court-certified law student where he represented three criminal defendants in jury trials before he even graduated. Also during law school, he received expert training in Alternative Dispute Resolution through the nationally ranked Oregon ADR Center. Born and raised in Davis County, Tyler takes advantage of all that Utah has to offer from the great culture and entertainment found in our cities to the amazing outdoor recreation that is only an hour or so away. In his free time, Tyler enjoys being active in his community and spending time with family.

I attended college at the University of Utah, graduating Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor's degree in English and French. I then attended law school at the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law, graduating in the top third of class with my juris doctorate in 2014. I took and passed the Utah State Bar Exam later that summer, and shortly thereafter I went into private practice, working primarily as family/domestic law litigator and criminal defense attorney. After nearly nine years in family law and criminal defense, I decided to move into practice areas other than family/domestic law. As a result, in November 2023, I was fortunate enough to join the highly esteemed and successful law firm of Goebel Anderson PC, where I am practicing general commercial litigation.

After receiving his B.A. from Brigham Young University, Joseph Jardine studied at the University of Idahos College of Law, graduating with his juris doctor degree and quickly passing bar exams in both Idaho and Utah. With over 100 trials on his resume, Joseph possesses the knowledge and experience necessary to help Farmington and Davis County residents secure the futures they deserve.

He’s been through several serious injuries himself, including a motorcycle accident at the age of 17 when he lost his left leg, just above the knee. Kelly understands the trauma and stress that follow a serious accident and has made it his mission to defend the rights and settlements of personal injury victims.

Melton Law was founded by William L. Melton. William has taken pride in serving his clients and his community for many years. After experiencing his own encounters with the legal system he decided to dedicate his career to the pursuit of law. William has been involved in proactively changing to improve the community in multiple ways throughout his career. In addition to fighting for his clients in the courtroom, William is also actively involved in making changes at the legislative level. In 2015, William helped lobby and successfully pass the alternative parent-time schedule. This new law substantially increased the amount of time that non-custodial parents receive with their children. Additionally, William is an appointed member by the governor to a state Child Support Guidelines Committee. The committee is responsible for making recommendations to the legislature for changes to the child support guidelines. William has worked on hundreds of different cases from minor traffic infractions to major sex crimes and white-collar crimes. William is an experienced trial attorney with experience on all sides of a criminal case. During law school, William clerked for the Hon. Judge Parker in the Third Judicial District Court, he assisted clients in the Idaho Street Law Clinic and worked in the Utah County Attorney's Office prosecuting cases in both their misdemeanor and major crimes divisions. William loves working with his clients and doing everything in his power to help them resolve their cases with the absolute best possible outcome. Chris is a Utah-licensed attorney who works exclusively in personal injury, auto accident, and general negligence matters. Chris is a combat veteran (he served in Iraq for twelve months), husband, and proud father of two energetic children. After graduating from the University of Utah law school in 2008, he worked as an associate for a large Northern California law firm, where he litigated civil and domestic cases, including high-profile wrongful death matters. After returning home to Utah, Chris worked with a small local firm, where he honed his skills in personal injury and auto-accident matters. Now, he practices exclusively in dog-bite and auto-accident cases.
