Since entering private practice in 1980, Mr. Segal has represented corporations and individuals in complex white collar crime investigations and trials in State and Federal Court. In addition, his practice includes the representation of professionals in Malpractice Litigation and Business Litigation. While representing the United States, Mr. Segal participated in a number of investigations and cases involving Medicare and other health care provider fraud. In private practice he has represented fiscal intermediaries, hospitals, physicians, chiropractors, psychologists, disposable medical equipment suppliers, wholesalers of medical supplies and numerous other persons in investigations and prosecutions brought by the United States Attorney and local prosecutors.
