About Marcel
Marcel is a native of Birmingham, Alabama born to Nicaraguan parents. He graduated from the Birmingham School of Law and began working as an attorney for Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys in 2017. Marcel devotes his practice to personal injury, representing individuals who have been injured in car wrecks, slip and falls or other types of accidents. Being Hispanic and fluent in Spanish, Marcel focuses much of his practice on providing representation to the underserved Hispanic community of Alabama.
Before earning his Juris Doctorate, Marcel received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Masters in Public Administrations, both from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Marcel is admitted to practice law in all Alabama State Courts, and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
Marcel enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys playing soccer, golf, fishing, and spending time at the lake.
