About Marie
Ms. Palmquist entered the practice of law after being in Health Care for 20 years. Ms. Palmquist holds a Masters Degree in Nursing and a Masters Degree in Education as well as her Law Degree. She was active in the Health Care profession and has experience in almost every clinical setting as well as having an administrator and having taught nursing.
Because of Ms. Palmquist's extensive background in Health Care, much of her practice is focused in areas related to medical aspects. She works on large personal injury cases and professional negligence cases that have complex medical issues. Ms. Palmquist has been successful in advancing the interests of her clients in the areas of Social Security and Workers' Compensation. She has successfully defended allegations against nurses before the State Board of Nursing.
Although Ms. Palmquist has special expertise in cases with medical issues, her interest in people has allowed her practice to succeed in many other areas as well. Since starting her practice she accepted a few family law cases and through client referrals that portion of her practice has grown to a very large portion of her clients. Many clients have been referred to her because of she fights aggressively for her clients to obtain custody of their children.
