About Mariya
Mariya V. Link joined Ivey, Barnum & O'Mara, LLC in 2022. Mariya grew up in New York City before attending University of Rochester, where she received a B.A. in Economics and a management certificate from Simon School of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. She received her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2004 and an LLM from New York University in 2009. Prior to joining Ivey, Barnum & O'Mara, LLC, Mariya was a senior tax counsel in a boutique law firm in Westchester County, New York.
Mariya's practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, taxation, partnerships, probate and surrogate’s court matters and defending estate and trust tax audits. Mariya’s extensive estate administration experience allows her to develop estate plans that address tax issues and client’s concerns in order to produce appropriate and long-lasting documents. She has done estate planning for a broad range of finance, accounting, and other professionals, as well as entrepreneurs and multi-generational families. Consequently, Mariya has developed comprehensive estate plans to assist members of many generations in their wealth transfer protection and planning.
