About Mark-Allen
I am a family, domestic relations, and Chapter 7 bankruptcy attorney in Center City Philadelphia, with my main office in the historic North America Building, located at the corner of Samsom and Broad Streets on the 20th floor. This is a very convenient locations if you need to use public transportation. I am TheSaturdayLawyer.com, meaning that I am available for weekend and evening appointments for working people.
I am a graduate of the Temple University School of Law, barred in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and have been honored for my pro bono work for the less fortunate among us; although I think many other lawyers do so much more then me. I am an alumus of Plymouth, Simmons and Columbia. I was born and raised in New Hampshire with my five brothers, relocating to Boston in 1970. And yes, I do still have some of my Boston accent. I am very fortunate that my father was the greatest man I ever met. I would never have been able to achieve everything I have if it were not for my Dad. I had two sets of grandparents, one set very very rich and one set very very poor. So,I have truly seen life from both sides of the economic divide.
Little Disclaimer: This is a new website as of July 2012 and I am making the effort to create myself; so, I will be updating it, as I learn how to manage it. I am a solo practitioner and I am solely here to help my clients with what can be some very stressful and distressing situations. Family law is a very special practice area because often, although not always, deals with a someone in a sad, tragic, frustrating, humilitating, or sometimes dangerous situation.
I did not find family law. Family law found me. I am here to help people in need and hopefully assist with the transition to a new beginning And a new beginning is possible.
