Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

A client was accused of pointing a gun at his neighbor during a dispute. He was arrested, jailed and the prosecutor was seeking a long prison term. Our firm did an extensive investigation and discovered a bullet at the crime scene actually belonged to the alleged victim. With the new evidence and numerous issues we discovered, we were able to convince the prosecutor that the alleged victim was the one who pulled the gun. They agreed to drop prison charges. We were extremely happy to help our client get his life back.

How did you build a successful practice?

Our practice is based on our close relationship with our clients. We treat our clients like family. Together we work as a team throughout the case. Great communication and hard work is essential to success. Together we can insure that a positive and just result is achieved.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Experience is essential. As a former felony prosecutor and a dui prosecutor, I have have the extensive training and experience needed to find the issues and use them to get a great result. Additionally you should work with the attorney you hired. Many firms have an experienced attorney meet with you initially and the pass you off to a less experienced attorney to handle you case. When you hire our firm, you will work with the attorney you retained and get the best representation available.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Knowledge is power. Knowing the prosecutor and the judge is key to developing an effective case strategy. The court room is like a boxing ring. Knowing your opponents strengths and weaknesses is essential to winning the fight.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

When someone is arrested they are confused and scared. When I first talk to a potential client I make sure the completely understand the situation and what lies ahead in the process. This knowledge can be very comforting. My goal is to always help someone feel better informed about the situation and put their mind a ease.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

The most important information a potential client can provide is the citation or complaint. These documents list the charges they are facing and allow me to better advise them of what they are facing.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

We are very proud of our Google reviews. They reflect what separates us from other attorneys. Our clients feel like family. They have our cell phone numbers and know they can reach out anytime. They know exactly what's going on in their cases and that we are fighting hard for them. They work closely with us during the investigation to insure that every issue and detail is reviewed. When the case is resolved they know that we achieved the best possible result.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Helping people is the most rewarding aspect of my job. When a client comes into the office they are terrified and confused. They often face jail or prison time. They need an experienced attorney to help guide and protect them. The process can be long and difficult. However, being able to use my skillset and experience to help them navigate the system and achieve a positive result is extremely rewarding. Knowing I made a difference in someones life is an amazing reward.
