About Mark
Mark C. Young has been in private practice for over 30 years, with a practice concentrated heavily in real estate matters, estate planning and probate, and business matters. He represents buyers, sellers, mortgage lenders, brokers, developers, and builders in real estate matters. Mark also works with individuals and families in addressing their estate planning needs, drafting wills, trusts and powers of attorney, as well as handling the probate of estates. He advises small businesses on the various matters confronted by today's small businesses.
Mark is a frequent writer on real estate topics for publications of the State Bar of Wisconsin, as well as publications of the ABA. He regularly speaks at legal seminars, and has taught in the Lawyering Skills Course at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Mark has also taught business law classes at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. He is also the author of the chapter on personal property leases in the Business Advisor series of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Mark earned his law degree from Drake University, where he was a member of the Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree in history from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Mark is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin (Communications Committee, former chair).
