About Markus
Markus X. Murden, Esq. was born in Beaumont, TX. At a young age, Markus and his family relocated to Orlando, FL where he has since been raised. Markus X. Murden attended Apopka High School in Apopka, FL. After graduation, Markus enrolled in the University of Central Florida where he majored in legal studies with minors in philosophy and sociology. After graduating from UCF, Markus attended the Washington and Lee University School of Law where he studied with an emphasis in criminal law.
Markus X. Murden decided to open the MXM Law firm in 2017 straight out of law school. He decided this was the best way to get his legal services out to the public.

At MXM Law I know that finding the right attorney to represent you is a choice not to be taken lightly. That’s why I offer free consultations to walk you through your needs, the scope of your goals, and your budget. Depending on the case, I offer an hourly rate or a flat rate. I will keep a detailed log of how much time is being spent on your case. We count in ten-minute increments when billing for time. I only work for as long as a case requires, so you’ll never be overbilled for unproductive time. Final bills will include costs for filing, and third-party research and investigative tools. Family law rates fall between $200 and $400 per hour. Criminal law rates vary depending on the charges. Retainers must be paid upfront. All flat fee rates can be paid with an initial deposit with the rest of the amount due being put on a payment plan.
