About Martha
Prior to joining Pinto Coates Kyre & Brown in 1996, Martha Brown was employed as an associate with Haynsworth, Baldwin, Johnson & Greaves, LLC, where she practiced employment law, representing exclusively management in all types of employment matters from drafting employee handbooks to defending discrimination claims to representing the employer in workers' compensation matters. Since joining PCKB, Martha has diversified her practice, engaging in all types of civil litigation, from personal injury claims to insurance coverage issues to construction defect claims. However, her specialty remains employment and workers' compensation law, and she now represents and advises both employers and employees. She has experience in all judicial and quasi-judicial forums, including state and federal courts, arbitration, and administrative law proceedings.
