Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I recently tried a three week traumatic brain injury case that involved complex medical issues with over 20 medical experts who testified at trial. At the conclusion of the case, my client received a jury verdict in their favor.
How did you build a successful practice?
In my practice my goal is to provide my clients with prompt and personal service. I treat each client as an individual and not just another case file. In addition, I have obtained excellent results for my clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
It is important that clients ask any lawyer they are considering hiring what to expect from the lawyer. This would include asking how often the lawyer will provide the client with a status update about the case, the most cost efficient manner to move forward with the case and the lawyer's track record of success.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Local knowledge of the case is very important because it allows the attorney insight into opposing counsel, opposing experts and historical jury and/or bench trial decisions for similar cases.

I can provide an evaluation of the case to include the strength and weakness of a case. Additionally, I can discuss the best approach to reach a favorable outcome in the case.

Details of the accident, whether a police/law enforcement report was taken at the scene of the accident and insurance information for both parties.

Are you involved in your community?
Yes, once a month I volunteer for a legal clinic in my community where I provide free legal consultations primarily to low-income people living with HIV or AIDS on a wide range of legal issues including landlord/tenant problems, employment issues, wills, insurance disputes, debtor relief and issues pertaining to discrimination.
