About Martin

Martin A. Neumann has been with the firm since 1981 and specializes in estate planning and trust administration. He has been a lecturer since 1987 for UCLA Extension, where he teaches both beginning and advanced Estate Planning courses. Prior to teaching at UCLA, Mr. Neumann was an Adjunct Professor of Law for the University of San Diego School of Law. He is the co-author of "Outright Noncharitable Gifts" in California Will Drafting, Third Edition (California Continuing Education of the Bar). He also is the author of "The Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax--Two Years Later--Coping With Technical Corrections" and "Estate Freeze Techniques Outside of Chapter 14" for the 1987 and 1995 New York University Institutes on Federal Taxation. Mr. Neumann has lectured in advanced estate planning techniques for the USC Institute on Federal Taxation and the Mid-America Tax Institute in St. Louis. He also lectured at the 1997 USC Probate & Trust Conference on hot issues in estate and gift tax audits. Mr. Neumann received both his undergraduate and law degrees from UCLA. Mr. Neumann was honored as a "Super Lawyer" in 2004-2009 by Law & Politics, published by Los Angeles Magazine. He is a member of the California, Los Angeles County and Beverly Hills Bar Associations.
