After forty years of practicing law most of which has been done in West New York in Hudson County I was honored by the Bar association and named 2019 Hudson County Lawyer of the Year.
How did you build a successful practice?I have consistently maintained my practice at the same location and have provided honest and aggressive representation to every one. I have shown respect to every person regardless of their background
What should clients look for in a lawyer?Honesty and obviously the skills and experience necessary to represent their interests
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?For over twenty years I lived and worked in Hudson County. Knowing the community and people of the community is very important
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?Phone conversations allow me the opportunity to introduce myself and find out a little about the client and their case. enough information should be communicated so that both the client and the lawyer are comfortable proceeding with an in person meeting

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?My experience. I have more trial experience than almost any other attorney in the county and the state in civil, family and criminal cases
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?Helping people
What are your other interests in addition to law?Family friends and exercise, traveling
Are you involved in your community?I am a former Weehawken Councilman; former sponsor of Walden's Raiders baseball team . I am the Hudson County Fee Arbitration Secretary appointed by the Supreme Court of NJ for over 20 years to help and assist in resolving fee disputes between attorneys and clients in Hudson County. Honored as 2019 Civil Lawyer of the Year by State of New Jersey Hudson County Bar Association. Honored as one of New Jerseys top trial lawyers. In 2012 again named and had the 16th highest verdict/settlement in the state with a 3.5 million dollar recovery against New Jersey Transit for a pedestrian hit in the crosswalk in Hackensack New Jersey. In 2012-2013 had two million dollar verdicts plus numerous other verdicts in excess of 250 thousand dollars. Named again in 2013 top one hundred trial attorney in New Jersey.
