About Mary
Mary Ann Dalton, Attorney and Counselor at Law, dedicates herself to assisting seniors and their families with their elder law, estate planning and collaborative needs. She is experienced in the practice of Elder Care, Medicaid Planning, Guardianships, Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Probate and related Litigation. She has been a mediator since 1998 and is a certified mediator for family and elder care disputes and superior court litigation. As an outgrowth of Ms. Dalton's education and practice as a mediator, she practices collaborative law in the areas of probate, elder issues and guardianship.
Her practice covers the greater Raleigh, North Carolina area, including Wake, Johnston, Durham and Orange Counties. She provides assistance to veterans and the elderly with government benefits, often visiting traveling to their homes and adult community centers. Some of the typical documents prepared to meet clients' needs are Medicaid Plans, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, Medical Powers of Attorney and Advanced Directives. Her collaborative law practice allows the addition of retirement planning and healthcare planning for older couples going through divorce.
