Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

There is not necessarily one case that stands out. Fortunately I have been blessed with many cases over the years, and have had many great clients. Each case has its own merits, and is treated as I would want my own cases handled. With that being said, I strive to make a positive difference in every case that I handle.

How did you build a successful practice?

I respond quickly when called (almost always the same day). I work quickly and creatively to get answers to any question or problem presented to me. My hard work has translated into satisfied clients who have graciously referred their friends and family to me.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

A lawyer that will treat them like he wants to be treated. Someone who is going to represent their interests, fight to get them what they deserve, will return phone calls, and treat them like they would want to be treated.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Local knowledge is very important. Having relationships with other lawyers in the community can be key to getting a resolution in a case. In addition, being from the local community allows me to be able to relate to those who have an issue in the community.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

What type of case the client may have, whether it is something that I would be willing to handle, and what the next step would be (coming in for an appointment, etc). to get the ball rolling to get the potential client's problem solved.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

As much information as possible about your potential case (the facts, the parties involved, description of injuries, etc.)

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

At my core I believe in treating others like I want to be treated. With that being said, I am hungry to work hard and fight for my clients. I will put the in whatever time and effort it takes to represent my client properly.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Helping people when they are in need. I feel one of my callings in life is to help others with the talent's the Lord has given men.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

Sports. I played college baseball. I like to take a lot of what I learned on the baseball field and apply it in my every day practice. Examples include: Working with others, working long hours, and doing what it takes to win. I also enjoy hiking and being in the outdoors.
