Like many of my clients, I was born and raised in Arkansas by a single mother. I went to high school, college and law school in Little Rock. While in law school, I developed a passion for criminal law and protecting the rights of the accused. Since I began practicing law in 2007, I have represented hundreds of clients from across the state of Arkansas in criminal and family law matters. My clients have faced all type of charges; including, drug possession, drug trafficking, assault, battery, theft, burglary, sexual assault, rape, fraud, robbery, homicide and many others. I have handled criminal cases ranging from traffic tickets and misdemeanors to the most serious of felonies. My client’s results included not guilty verdicts, directed verdicts, dismissals, and favorable plea deals. My criminal practice has also involved post-conviction representation and probation and parole issues; such as, probation revocation, early release from probation, and parole hearings. I have helped people seal their criminal records so that they can secure employment and enjoy many of the rights they enjoyed prior to a conviction. Guilty or innocent, I stand ready to be your voice. In my family law practice, I have represented clients from all corners of the state. I have successfully handled divorce, child support, visitation, guardianship, property division, paternity, adoption, custody matters and more. For many people, a divorce or other family law problem can be the most stressful event of their lives. I have the experience and knowledge to help guide you through the full range of domestic relations cases, and I have the heart to care about your and your family’s best interests during this difficult time.
Lawyer.com Member Questionnaire
How did you build a successful practice?
The best way to build a successful practice is through diligent and skillful representation of all clients. No paid marketing can match the recommendations of a former client.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Your lawyer is your voice in the legal system. You should look for a lawyer with proven experience in the type of case you have. It is also important that you can communicate openly with your attorney, so finding a lawyer that you feel comfortable speaking with is critically important.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
The purpose of a free consultation is for the attorney and the potential client to get acquainted, and for the lawyer to get a basic understanding of the case. It's a chance for both lawyer and client to determine whether they have the capacity to work together towards the client's objectives. If both parties feel confident in their capacity to work together, a fee quote can be provided.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I do not care if you are innocent or guilty, I only care what can be proven with the evidence. I will view your case objectively and work diligently towards the best plausible outcome no matter the charge.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Nothing is more rewarding than helping my clients resolve some of the most difficult issues they will ever face, whether it be a divorce or a felony criminal charge.
