About Matthew
Matthew Ritchie graduated from the University of California at San Diego in 1997 with a BA in History. In 1997, Mr. Ritchie attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. In 2000, Mr. Ritchie earned his Juris Doctor and was admitted to the California Bar.
Mr. Ritchie began working in 2000 at the same nationally recognized firm as Mr. Ervin. It was here where they began working closely together on cases and forged a professional relationship. Mr. Ritchie’s negotiation skills, work ethic and ability to work under pressure contributed to his success at the firm. In 2008, Mr. Ritchie was named co-managing attorney. While at the firm, Mr. Ritchie specialized in IRS tax matters, the Lanham Act, advertising law, franchise law and professional responsibility matters including representing lawyers when they face State Bar inquires. Mr. Ritchie has also resolved a large number of civil claims through mediation and/or arbitration. Mr. Ritchie’s negotiation skills have led to favorable six figure deals with major NBA and NASCAR teams.
